US 60 for me, but have only been on very short parts of US 30 and US 50.

Same here. US 30 in Philadelphia and Camden and US 50 in Virginia less than a mile from DC, possibly plus DC proper while walking. (I've been on US 20 from NY 7 to I-88 and on I-291 (MA) and US 6 only on its overlap with I-84.)
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

I'm positive I've answered this before (I remember doing the research, at least), but I couldn't find it searching this forum.

It might be US 20, though I can't say for sure that I didn't pick up a block or two of it in Boston once. The longest one I'm positive I've never traveled is US 12. (Honorable mention to US 6, which I've only seen thanks to it hopping on I-84 in Hartford and I-95 in Providence.)

US 20, as far as I can tell I've never driven on any stretch of that Route.

US-1, at least for as long as I can specifically remember.  I might have been on it at some point in early childhood.
Keep right except to pass.  Yes.  You.

The top 5 are (1) US 20, (2) US 6, (3) US 30, (4) US 50, and (5) US 60.

I've definitely been on US 20 and US 6.
I don't think I've ever been on US 30, although I have crossed it at multiple points. Southeastern PA is kind of an iffy zone, but I'm about 85% sure I haven't driven any of it.

It was probably the other thread (also active at this time) about the longest interstate you haven't traveled.
Just from scrolling through that thread, it looked like a lot of people were posting their response for US routes in addition to interstates.

It helps that 5 of the 6 longest go through my state.

US 70 is the longest that I have not been on independent of an interstate concurrency.
US 82 is the longest that I have not been on at all.
Indiana: counties 100%, highways 100%
Illinois: counties 100%, highways 61%
Michigan: counties 100%, highways 56%
Wisconsin: counties 86%, highways 23%

I-70 in Breezewood is also US 30 so if you've been though Breezewood you've been on US 30.

I love US-30 in Indiana and Ohio, been on that many times. US-30 is multiplexed with I-70 in Breezewood too.

Anyone got a list that's sortable by distance?

Never mind, I was using mobile Wikipedia. Changing to the desktop site allows sorting. Comparing that to Travel Mapping leads me to US-12. Apparently I've been on a massive 5.18 miles of US-20, all in Boise on a football trip in December 2004.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"

I picked up US 20 in northern Illinois, along the I-39 multiplex if nowhere else.  I know I crossed US 6 somewhere around there, but I don't think I ever turned onto it.

Aside from that... I've got US 30 in Oregon, US 50 in DC, US 60 in Kentucky and West Virginia, US 12 in Washington, US 70, 1, and 64 in North Carolina, and US 40 in West Virginia.  The second-longest US highway I've never been on would, then, be US 62.

If you crossed the IL/IN border on I-80/94, you've been on US 6.

Sometimes you forget that US highways are multiplexed on Interstate highways. Like around here I-75 is multiplexed with US-23 between Standish and Flint and you almost never think that you're on US-23 but rather you're on I-75.

Never did, as far as I remember.  When I've visited Indiana, it's been farther south.

On the other hand, I took another look - I've been on it in Pennsylvania, for its I-81 multiplex just north of Scranton!

I guess US 30 for me. I've crossed it enough times, but never been on it so far as I can recall.

paulthemapguy

I drove about 100ft of US84 to get a photo of the route shield off I-75 in Georgia.  Since I don't think that counts for everything, US84 will be my answer.   Most of the routes longer than US84 I've only driven a small segment of, but they count!

US 20. As far as I can tell I've only intersected it. In fact, I'm pretty sure the longest one I HAVE been on is either US 60 or 70.

dlsterner

Longest never driven would be US 12, but I have crossed it.  Never driven and never crossed would be the western US 2.
