Never seen a SPUI shifted like that. I wonder where else you can find one.

There is a similar SPUI at Interdtate 225 and Alameda Avenue in Aurora, Colorado.

As well as another one at St.Paul, Minnesota at I-694/Rice St. where a former diamond interchange was converted into a SPUI.

Not a good morning to be commuting in the Boise area: I-84 EB was closed at Exit 33 earlier, and seems to have reopened now but there must be some lanes still closed. There's still over an hour delay for I-84 EB traffic, and the spillover effects are so bad that US 20/26 is backed up for miles heading east from I-84 in Caldwell, and even ID 44 is backed up for about 2 miles in Middleton, which I have to assume is very rare without knowing too much about typical traffic patterns in the area. You're looking at a minimum of 1 hour to get from Caldwell to Boise.. typically a 30-35 minute trip with no traffic.

A very bad crash on US 20 near the intersection with Idaho Highway 87 between Idaho Falls and West Yellowstone resulted in multiple fatalities.

A Dodge Ram pickup and a Mercedes passenger van collided Thursday (May 1, 2025) evening about 15 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, killing seven people: six in the tour van and the lone occupant of the pickup, authorities say. Several minutes after the crash, both vehicles caught fire, an eyewitness says.

Idaho State Police responded at about 7:15 p.m. Thursday to Highway 20 near Henry's Lake for a collision between the pickup and tour van, says a statement the agency released Friday. There were 14 people in the van, and six of them died. The driver of the pickup also died in the crash, the statement says.

Authorities hadn't released names, ages, hometowns or nationalities of the deceased as of Friday morning because of the "magnitude of the incident and the ongoing process of notifying the next of kin," the statement says.

Roger Merrill arrived on scene about five minutes after the crash and watched its aftermath. He took a short video that includes the following devastating image:



As the investigation is ongoing, it is not yet clear how the accident occurred.

That's good to hear, I saw a satellite photo showing the construction grading at the I-84 interchange.
