I'm currently in Park City, UT for the week and the ski conditions are fantastic! No ice on the hill.

Tonight's low is a brisk -25C/-13 F, but the temperature will warm up by Wednesday with a high of -2C/29F. Lots of blue skies for the week which is nice too.

You're experiencing one of Utah's strongest arctic blasts in recent memory. Peter Sinks just off US 89 by Beaver Mountain dropped to -63F last night, which is the coldest that site has been since at least 2002 and probably longer than that. Logan got down to -30F, which is one degree short of the -31F it measured on that 2002 day.

Even Salt Lake City, usually the warmest spot in northern Utah, only got up to 20F today. A high that cold last happened on two days in January 2017 and before that hadn't happened since the exceptionally cold winter of 2013.

Our apartment just had the fire alarm go off in the 10° weather. The alarm itself was malfunctioning. They told us we could go back inside with the alarm still on. (It's on as I type this.)

This week we got into the 70s on a couple days, very sunny. This weekend has been pretty cloudy, but no rain, and upper 60s to 70 ish. Very pleasant overall.

Apparently lots of rain coming in this next week, but pretty warm. Mid to upper 70s. Certainly makes the rain a bit more bearable.
