Pantone colors will now be a new subscription for Adobe software

For those here who do road-related illustrations, this might be something to consider. There are workarounds, as listed in the article, including converting Pantone colors to RGB. VidTheKid has a useful page showing accurate conversions: http://vidthekid.info/misc/fhwacolors.html

I use the Pantone colors a lot when doing my own illustrations. 116 for yellow, 187 for red, 294 for blue, 342 for green. (Recommended Pantone choices are here: https://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/kno-colorspec.htm) So this will affect me, although I'll probably just convert to RGB and be done with it.
