^That's kinda cool actually.  The imitation-button copy shows that they know exactly what roadgeek historians like!

Very similar signs on Hist US 6 north of Santa Clarita CA -- but I wish those signs had used real reflector buttons, rather than fake (just painted white circles) buttons.

That's probably because they are all US Route 6 Tourist Association signs:

http://www.route6tour.com

They also have a 12x18 design also for urban routes which looks exactly the same as the larger counterparts.  Kind of a neat little association, you get a whole membership pack and everything for a year if you buy a sign from them.  Real button copy is probably far out their price range I would speculate as a non-profit.  I'll grab a picture of my urban route Historic US 6 that I got from them when I get home today.

I know it's late, but here's my only good 5:

Can anyone guess where this was taken?
Come ride with me to the distant shore...

And this would be the urban sign they make:

Incidentally sorry for the cropped photos.  Most of the time I wasn't really trying to take pictures of road signs, they were family photos that happened to have a new sign or had some in the background somewhere.

Since it's been 25 hours since the first post of a 6 (not counting ones included in posts for lower numbers), time to start rolling out 7s.

Here's mine, showing unusual green bear markers for NT 7 and NT 1, at NT 7's north end near the abandoned Checkpoint, NT:

Might have to squint to see it but there is a WA 7 and a WA 706 on the guide sign way back behind the train:

I've have plenty of photos for 7 and 8, as my username would suggest. :) I'll use the ones below for 7's.

Waterloo RR 7 (and Perth CR 56) at the intersection with Perth CR 107

7/8 junction signs on RR 5 between New Hamburg and Baden

7/8 to 401 sign near RR 3 in New Hamburg

I thought we were limited to just posting 3 pictures at a time**.  That's why I've only been posting 3 for each number.  Is this correct?

Yep, it's rule 3 in the original post. But I couldn't help but cheat for this one (number 8 is the only one I have lots of photos for)

paulthemapguy

Actually yeah, who's stopping us from posting more than 3, even if every photo past the third doesn't count??  :bigass:  Might be considered rude if we do it too often though
