Should we take old numbers out of play?

No, let all numbers stay in play forever.

My first 102 will be a Massachusetts 102 on a paddle sign in West Stockbridge.  October 21, 2009.

My first 103 will be New York's short Route 103 that crosses the Mohawk on the Lock 9 bridge between Glenville and Rotterdam Junction.  Here, we see the construction closure sign on New York 5 after Tropical Storm Lee washed out the north bank including a big chunk of New York 103's approach to the bridge, taken November 15, 2011.



Here's Vermont 103 near Ludlow.  March 24, 2005.



And here's a Fulton County 103 near the north end of Stoner Trail Road, which is a faster "bypass" of New York 67's curvier section in and to the west of Fort Johnson.  November 2, 2008.
