If you ever feel useless, remember that CR 504 exists.

US 89

This may not necessarily be what we're after, but there are retention ponds underneath much of the Spaghetti Bowl (I-15/I-80/SR 201) in Salt Lake City:

That counts:)

Along the I-710 in MA, there are several interchanges that are partially over the LA River, notability the I-105, CA-91, and I-405 interchanges.
I build roads on Minecraft. Like, really good roads.
Interstates traveled:
4/5/10*/11**/12**/15/25*/29*/35(E/W[TX])/40*/44**/49(LA**)/55*/64**/65/66*/70°/71*76(PA*,CO*)/78*°/80*/95°/99(PA**,NY**)

*/** indicates a terminus/termini being traveled
° Indicates a gap (I.E Breezwood, PA.)

The interchange between the Throgs Neck Bridge (I-295) and the Cross Island Parkway in New York is partly over water:

I-10/I-55 interchange near La Place, LA. This is the southern terminus of I-55. The very first 22.6 miles of I-55 is elevated over water-filled swamps, and also has US 51 running concurrent here as well. The original US 51 acts as a service road on the east side of the elevated freeway. It is known as "the low road."

Runnin' roads and polishin' rails.

Just a reminder that US 6, 49, 50, and 98 are superior to your fave routes :)

I assuming that this interchange was mentioned in the thread about substandard Interstate-to-Interstate connections. If not, it should be. EB I-10 to NB I-55 traffic has to pass through 2 traffic lights and an uncontrolled left turn, as well as access to a gas station. It's rather Breezewood-like.

Not an excuse for the missing freeway movement - but long distance I-10 EB Traffic will have used I-12 anyway and bypassed this section.

I'd call it a low-level offender

Wonder what the traffic count is making that movement. Google (iPad version of Google Maps) shows a total of 3 cars along that path, although I'd guess the truck/trailer in the right lane at the second light isn't turning left ahead. Better hurry thru that uncontrolled left turn-there's one car about a mile away on the low road to worry about. If only Breezewood were that easy to get through...

I can't find an AADT for that section of US-51 on the LaDOTD site–either a Blanket Traffic Count (every ten years) or a Routine Traffic Count (every three years).  Nothing between the Pilot truck stop and Frenier Road.

I-5 and California 54 in San Diego has ramps over the Sweetwater River, but partially because the 54's carriageways are also split by the waterway: Westbound is north of the river; Eastbound is south of the river, between I-5 and I-805

Another good one: the entrance to Ssuk-som from the Chungsong Bridge over the Taedong River in Pyongyang. It's a parclo with all the ramps over water at some point.

Part of the US 15/US 58/VA 49 partial interchange in Clarksville, VA (namely the ramp from WB US 58 to the US 58 BYPASS) is over the John H. Kerr Reservoir.

Also, while this is obviously not an interchange, VA 175 has an intersection with Marsh Island Road over the southern part of Chincoteague Bay; Marsh Island Road is the only access to that island, and is an old alignment of VA 175.

Does the US-50 at I-5 Interchange count as interchange over water this is given that US-50 goes over the Sacramento river before reaching I-5.

Massachusetts route 3 transitions from Memorial Drive in Cambridge to the Longfellow Bridge partly over water.

W Ocean Blvd in Long Beach CA transitions into I-710 over the LA River. At this point the LA River is a full of sea water, not like most of its length which is dry 11 months out of the year.

You could say the same for the I-405 to I-605 interchange going over the San Gabriel River.

That isn't "over water". It has to have ramps that also cross the water.

The South Interchange in Little Rock (I-30 / I-440 / I-530) is not fully over water but much of it is on a flood plain and is elevated, specifically on the eastern side.

The ramps on the south side of the MN 101/Wright CSAH 36 interchange (where Rogers, Otsego, and St. Michael, MN come together) cross the Crow River.
