....but I lived for 30+ years in the Los Angeles / San Diego area prior to relocating down under, so I know the roads in California "like the back of my hand."

I've been lurking on aaroads for years, finally decided to join in on the conversation.

Too bad the aaroads shield generator doesn't work anymore - "if only I would have paid more attention earlier...."

Thanks for looking,

jpm

Now alternating between different highway shields for my avatar - my previous highway shield avatar for the last few years was US 76.

Welcome from Huntsville, AL! We have a few Australian members on a forum that I help run.
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

Welcome from Massachusetts!

(I seriously hope I'm not being tricked again...)
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

The tone of the OP suggests that none of us are being tricked again
The account approval process has improved, too.

I doubt we're being tricked again. I'll be darned if we are. I think "Linda" had probably had enough of us by now.  :bigass:   :banghead:

I genuinely believe that this is a completely different, much better person that is new to the forum. So with that said, we welcome you warmly!!

I was like that too. Welcome from Sherwood, Oregon!
ODOT, raise the speed limit and fix our traffic problems.

Road and weather geek for life.

Thanks for the welcome everybody (and I'm definitely not Linda).

I'll be hanging out on the California side of aaroads, since I spent most of my years on the west coast.

It's always nice to see people who are as geeked out about roads as myself....

All the best,
