Harris and Montgomery Counties have launched a study about building the Tomball Parkway (SH 249) as a toll road.

The SH 249 corridor is proposed to go northwest through Montgomery and Grimes Counties, up to SH 6 outside of Navasota.

8 months ago, there was a sign on the end of the newer expressway section over 2920 that said future aggie tollway. So I think they might toll it to college station. If that is the case, then that would be extremely smart move. Just build something between the gap, it looks stupid being an open gap for 4 or 5 miles between highway points.
