The waypoint issues on other routes are often headache-inducing, but that hasn't stopped me from trying to get them logged as accurately as possible. Some days I feel ready to take on a waypoint overhaul of the entire NY state route system, and other days I want to just delete my .list file and forget it. It's certainly fun and interesting, but also a major time sap, so it sometimes feels like a curse as much as a blessing.  :)

Insert plug for using the .list tool on TM's showroute page, and for using 6-entry list files for routes that span multiple regions.

If you need a tutorial on Github, let me know; it's really easy. All you're doing is basically editing your .list file "in the cloud", where the site is actually reading it from.

Thanks for the offer. There's instructions on TM and it looks easy enough, it's just a matter of getting around to trying it.  :D

Hey, that's a cool tool! Wish I knew about that before but I'll definitely use it going forward.

Good!  I can update travels in a fraction of the time it used to take before I implemented that functionality, and it's much less error-prone.  It's especially convenient for beltways, when it often takes a couple tries to make sure you selected what you meant to select when you travels include the start/end point of TM's definition of the route.

Additional tip: when you have the .list tool open, you can click on the first segment of your travels on the route, then shift-click on the last segment to get them all marked at once.

So I've finally managed to clinch a State Highway :sombrero:. Okay, I've cheated, it has been in Italy, where Strade Statali (State Highways) are at the US Route level. The route in question is the SS 145 Sorrentina.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Happy to announce as of today I have finally clinched a 2DI: I-43! I know it's not that interesting of a clinch, given it's an intrastate Interstate, but it's still an achievement, given I had to go out of my way to get the last segment. It's in a direction that I would never have to travel based on where I currently live.

I also clinched IL-176 on my travels today. Quite a fun ride.

Since this is the first time I've posted on this thread, here's my TM Clinch page for everything else: https://travelmapping.net/shields/clinched.php?units=miles&u=joepcool14

Per Travel Mapping, I have clinched 183 interstate routes as they are defined therein.

Don't keep track of any other kinds of routes.

Up to 211 Interstates clinched, per TM's reckoning.

215 Travel Mapping Interstates clinched now.

375 is fun. If you're ever in the Hugo area again, there's a lot of short state routes around there to clinch. OK 147 is worth seeing.

I'm out visiting university for homecoming and I had the time yesterday to do some clinching. I finished up WI-130 which I'd have to say was a very nice drive from start to finish. Some really beautiful scenery of the Wisconsin River valley, especially with the leaves changing colors.

I clinched MN 78, MN 106, and MN 108 today.

On a recent trip back from southeast Missouri, I clinched MO 106 and respective spur in western Reynolds County. For the 106 spur, I am the only one on TM to have traveled or clinched it. This weekend to view peak fall foliage, I filled gaps in my travels on MO 76, 176, US 160, and clinched BUS 65 (Branson-Hollister).
