I took a Baltimore trip today to see the MARC/US-40 expressway developments and the NJ Tpke widening.

Here's some of what I saw.
The MARC lot is taking shape.  Notice the addition of a left-turn lane.  Because of this on US-40 EB, the "DOWNTOWN LEFT LANES" BGS over grass and WB "Left Lane Ends...US-40 1/2 Mile" BGS are both gone.  That is because the WB lanes end sooner.

As the EB US-40 stub/W. Mulberry St splits, it is more of a channeled split now.  To stay on Mulberry you have to bear right more so than in the past as 2-lanes curve right like an "S".  It's signed as "TO US-1."  Mulberry's also narrowed to 2-lanes but goes back to original width by Pulaski St. Sorry no pic of that.

A lot of goodies do remain as they have since 1979.

Also noticed the NJ Tpke widening is almost complete except for last minute bridge work, final paving and line painting.

I only take pics of good looking signs. Long live non-reflective button copy!
