Interstate 94 should have been Interstate 90
Interstates 84 and 86 and 90 should have been Interstate 80
Interstate 84 fromm Rupert to Echo should have been Interstate 78

Are you thinking of another freeway across Wyoming, connecting Pocatello to Buffalo (or Casper?), to carry your new I-80?

I once had a 1977 Oregon State Highway Map with a picture of the newly opened Tooth Rock Tunnel Bypass, which carries westbound traffic and allowed the tunnel to carry only eastbound traffic.  Prior to that point, the tunnel carried two-way traffic, so any picture of the tunnel back then would qualify.
