Always liked the Price Is Right. He was well missed after retiring.

Plus his show: The Truth or Consequences where I remember he had the legendary voice actor: Mel Blanc imitations on his show perform some of his Warner Brothers cartoon voices like Bugs Bunny to name one.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

Spent many sick/snow days watching him. RIP to the GOAT of daytime television.

4 months away from making it to 100.

He wins the prize for closest to 100 without going over.

:-D  :-D  :-D  :-D

(Edited to add: Evidently Betty White was closer. Still a great line.)

Probably Johnny Olson said to him upon his death “ Come on up! Your the next in line to see Saint Peter!”

The Ghostbuster

I saw some of Bob Barker's final years on The Price Is Right before he was replaced by Drew Carey in 2007. I watched some Drew Carey-hosted episodes for a while, before losing interest in the game show, and switching to the Maury Povich Show.

Big John

Just as long as they don't bury him in a fur coat.

My wife and I went to a taping of The Price is Right in, I believe, 2005.  We weren't called on down, but it was one of the favorite moments of my life just to be there.  We were seated in row 5 directly behind contestants row. In this screenshot, we are the two at the top of the pic, directly in the center.

While it is very sad to hear of his passing, it's a blessing by God we've gotten to know Bob for this long at all through multiple generations. Now, awaiting in heaven's boardroom is the love of his life, Dorthy Jo for that sweet reunion, and Johnny Olsen to make the call to "C'mon in!" The sound stage that borne his namesake will truly never be the same without him. (Even before all the remodeling at Television City is done.)

A champion to the cause of defending the welfare of Earth's endangered creatures, long may his legacy continue for years to come.
Finally upgraded to Expressway after, what, seven or so years on this forum? Took a dadgum while, but, I made it!

I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like "What is beauty?", because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems and call them "paychecks".

Yep. Used to watch it with my grandpa when I was a kid.

Recently I learned that he has a street in Springfield, MO, named after him. And it passes by his alma mater, Drury University.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Big John

^^ and a city in New Mexico named after his first show, Truth and Consequences.

We just watched Perfect Bid on Netflix. It's a documentary about the time that guy bid the exact amount on the Showcase and it talks about a guy in the audience who was somewhat of a real-life Rain Man when it came to memorizing the prices. Interesting short film, if perhaps maybe mildly creepy when it comes to his desire to kiss Holly Hallstrom.

A few blocks from the sign is this billboard graphic displayed in his honor:
