Looks like 103 to me.  Can't confirm if I drove on the concurrency with VT 100 or not.
WI 105
I had no clue WI-105 existed, way up there in Douglas County.

It leads to the semi-famous Oliver Bridge.

My in-laws actually lived on the other side of WI 35 where WI 105 ends (Central Ave).

For me, I've not yet been on M0 (Budapest Ring Road) in Hungary.

:wow:

In North America, for me it would be '5'.  I came close to US 5 during a couple of late 1990s/early 2000s roadtrips, but was never on it.

I've been on:
- US/DE/IL 1
- US/MA/NY 2
- US/MA 3
- US 4
(5)
- US 6
- US 7
- US 8
- US 9
- US 10
- US/WI 11
(etc)

I've never been on Route 3 either in any form out here, so that was also my thought for lowest numbered state route I have yet to go to.
[/quote]It's weird how many of us have never been on any Route 3.  I thought so too, but then a Wikipedia search turned up a County Highway 3 in Portland, OR, where I'd been on a few blocks.

Are spurs of spurs of spurs of loops of spurs of loops a thing? ;)

Er, what? There aren't any signed county routes in Multnomah County.
Are you talking about ORH 3, OR 43's Highway number?

Been on US 1 and California SR 1 (every Californian has to have been on it AT LEAST ONCE). Been on CA SR 2 (not Glendale Fwy section). So that would be 3, for me. Been on Interstate 4 and 5, and so on.

Lowest numbered US route I have never gone on is US 2.  Lowest numbered Interstate would be the aforementioned I-4.

A followup:

If we were thinking of lowest numbered route I've never been on, period (since I have been on MA 3 in Boston)...

I think the number 7 would qualify - have never been on US 7, and while I've used freeways that were formerly state route 7 in California (Route 14, I-405, and I-710), I have never used the Route 7 that currently exists near El Centro.

Are you talking about ORH 3, OR 43's Highway number?
Yep, Oswego Highway No. 3, aka Oregon Route 43.

Since I don't see an obvious entry for you on Travel Mapping, I'm just ruling out the obvious ones here -- Have you been up to Tacoma, and hit up WA 7 at all?
How about Oregon, US 20 anywhere east of Bend (that's ORH 7)?

Only possible candidate -- but that's not a county highway ;)

Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Been on US 1 and California SR 1 (every Californian has to have been on it AT LEAST ONCE). Been on CA SR 2 (not Glendale Fwy section). So that would be 3, for me. Been on Interstate 4 and 5, and so on.

I've never been on Route 3 either in any form out here, so that was also my thought for lowest numbered state route I have yet to go to.

Since I don't see an obvious entry for you on Travel Mapping, I'm just ruling out the obvious ones here -- Have you been up to Tacoma, and hit up WA 7 at all?
How about Oregon, US 20 anywhere east of Bend (that's ORH 7)?

WA 7 was one of the first ones I checked on Google Maps but I think the only times I've been driven around in the Tacoma area involve WA 16 or I-5.

Ok.  I gave in.  Instead of going off my memory, I went back through my trip records.  Discovered that I had actually been on PA 106, MA 107 and TN 108 (and MO 108, for that matter).  I don't count county routes, but do count state secondary routes.  I also don't count routes that have been decommissioned (e.g., NV 166, unfortunately).

My review takes me up to 125 being the lowest numbered route I haven't been on.  After that, 137 (so close to CT 137) and then, annoyingly, 151 (good chance I was on it when visiting Madison, WI, but I really don't remember; I was being driven by someone else).  So, not all the routes I've been on, but at least one per number:

Heh.  Good catch, but yeah, I was reticent to count routes outside of the U.S.

I guess it's a question for the OP to answer.

I haven't gone as in-depth as some others here, but if I did I would be willing to fill in the blanks with Canadian routes where applicable.

Rothman

I think it's one of those "to each their own" kinds of things.  I'll count my way, others will count their way and it's all good.

Yes, absolutely agree.

I was actually just surprised that we made it this far without that question being raised.

I mean, I included all the international routes I've been on.

It never occurred to me not consider routes in other countries?  Why would I?

Because America, freedom, mom, apple pie and international routes are communist.

FWIW, when I searched my Travel Mapping list file for the lowest missing number, I searched through a lot of Canadian route entries scattered throughout the file, as well as a few dozen at the end of my file from Guadeloupe (French West Indies), Italy, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. But I'm not sure that any of those non-U.S. entries would've included any foreign route numbers without any corresponding U.S. route entries.
