I wouldn't call it incorrect, but the unsigned I-305 in Sacramento is now being marked on Google Maps!

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=95819&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=47.215051,78.662109&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Sacramento,+California+95819&ll=38.568435,-121.473684&spn=0.045835,0.076818&z=14&layer=t

That and Google should get off their asses and post Business Interstates with the Green Shields instead of the normal one...............

I contend they should get ON their asses to do this.  It's far easier, I've found, to use the computer sitting down.  :-D

But yeah, the technology is there to make the shields on maps look like what they'll look like in the wild - and you don't even have to change the circles for every state, people!

I-15 through Salt Lake City (actually, looks like the entire length of freeway, and here too) has been designated the Barstow and Mojave Freeway. This just appeared in the last week I believe.
Infrastructure. The city.

Which site is that? That doesn't look like Google Maps.

Given the semicolon, I'd guess it's something based on OpenStreetMap data (OSM uses a semicolon for overlaps). But there's no ref tag, only a relation with slightly-strange network=US:US:BUSINESS ref=BUS US 12, so maybe not. Anyway, maps have errors.

Looks like MapQuest based on OSM data.

Right now I am watching a live cam of M-39 south at 8 Mile Road (M-102) waitng for the overpass to be torn down. RIP overpass (196x-2011)

And post banners, period.  Heaven help the person relying on Google Maps and trying to figure out why a route splits into parallel alignments with the same number.

Maybe MDOT will make a time-lapse video of the demolition from that feed considering it has posted demolitions of other overpasses to its YouTube channel.

I'm seeing a new I-136 in Nebraska, Missouri, and Illinois today:
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=39.88445,-94.130859&spn=6.372267,21.09375&z=7

And I've also seen that US-52 in the entire US has been decommisioned by Google at the same time.  Only has the text of "US-52" along any part of it's alignment except in one very small area of NC just outside of Mt. Airy.  That and the Darlington, SC Business route.

Alright, who had modified M-17 to run along the Wisconsin border? http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=46.079408,-88.946857&spn=0,0.02738&z=16&layer=c&cbll=46.079362,-88.946748&panoid=JHzSruqePhDOKjZSzPv6dA&cbp=12,117.62,,0,6.76

If you click back twice, notice that it shows the correct WI 17.

Just found out that Google has re-restructed M-108 after it has been decomissioned for over a month! http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=45.784105,-84.731852&spn=0.005671,0.01369&z=17

Not only that, but they extended it down old US 31. Don't worry, I've already filed an error report, and notified them of the exact jurisdictional transfer date.

Not entirely.  Still shown "shielded" in Minnesota and Iowa.

Take a look at this:

To the best of my knowledge, this road configuration never existed (and never will); here's another: http://goo.gl/maps/ksMm

Anyways, Google responded to my report on this and they said I was "right".  Well, of course I was right. :spin:  Hopefully it will not take them 2 months to get it fixed. lol.

CR 527 got a promotion in Millburn.

That's quite the promotion!  I remember a while ago (not sure how long ago, could be quite some time), they had all the 500-series routes (and I think a few regular county routes too) marked with the state route symbol.

Actually yes, it's been years since I recall that. Early NJ maps (1960s) would show the 5xx in the same symbol as state highways, sometimes. Other maps would show them in blue vs. the standard black squares.

Dang it, Google, why did you have to go and break NY 31? I don't think it has anything to do with construction, as NYSDOT's site doesn't mention any construction on NY 31 around there. Also, it's still possible to route driving directions to use the "broken" part, like here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=NY-31+W%2FPalmyra+Rd%2FPittsford+Palmyra+Rd&daddr=NY-31+W%2FPalmyra+Rd%2FPittsford+Palmyra+Rd&geocode=FQRUkQIdprFh-w%3BFdZjkQIdqH1h-w&hl=en&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=15&sll=43.078104,-77.486444&sspn=0.016614,0.027595&ie=UTF8&z=15
