If your looking for a fun way to get to the southeast united states from the great lakes area look no further. Depending on where you live your gonna take i75 all the way down to knoxville, tn. you go through or around cities like Dayton, Cincinnati, Lexington and maybe toledo depending on where you started and also go through some tremendous mountains. From Knoxville you can head anywhere. you can stay on i75, or like i did take i40 towards asheville. once to Asheville we got on i26 through spartanburg, columbia and charleston sc. there are many other variations to this trip, but this is a super satysfying trip because there is some decent sized city every hour or so. Traffic for some reason gets backlogged sometimes between asheville and knoxville.
