489 is now in play. I'm not back in until 490, and my one 486 was also covered with 480:

Deleted my old post and am re-bumping this to see if it works better. 493.

I have the next three numbers after 493 but I'm stuck for now.

Anyone around here near Lubbock? There's a Loop 493 along old US 87.

There's also one in Japan (which was used in the 1-2-3 Challenge game), but that seems like even more of a long shot.

Jim

TM knows of several, none of which I've traveled or photographed.

Looks like Kentucky and Texas are the only states with a "primary" 493. A number that high for Montana would be secondary, and Puerto Rico's routes over 300+ are in a tertiary system.

Not that it's anything special, but all I have is Cherokee County Road 493 off AL 9:

I have another county 493, but it's basically the same pentagon just 150 miles away.

Finally moving onto 494 with CR 494 alongside US 19/98 in Florida:

Edit: Or even better, a state-named I-494 shield still out in the wild! May 26, 2018.
