Traffic signals that back up traffic through previous intersections

The I-26 East/Ashley Phosphate Rd intersection in Charleston will cause Ashley Phosphate to back up all the way to Dorchester Rd on a bad day. Its almost 4 miles of multiple stoplights and 2 schools. Total nightmare of a road.
