Spotted at Park Road Shopping Center in Charlotte, NC. I've included my photos, but Google Sat view doesn't show. Never seen these before.

What are they indicating?

Here's the google map link which doesn't show the marks: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Shake+Shack/@35.1740791,-80.8488373,57a,35y,180h,39.46t/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x88569e53817c52df:0xf2e2af4487c2804f!8m2!3d35.1726866!4d-80.8493335

The marks are on regular aerial imagery - you're on 3D Globe Mode.

You have to go the menu and disable Globe mode.

I don't know what those markings are... never seen anything like that before.

At a Shopping Mall/Center, in addition to where the "dots"  appear in the lots related to entrances, I would guess the "dots"  indicated parking spots acceptable for Staff/Employee parking

They are just there for no reason? I don't know... I'm not a roadgeek expert

They must have some purpose...otherwise, why would they be there?

This is correct.  Per GMSV they appeared between April 2017 and March 2018 which backs up the information in this article that mentions this shopping center was instituting an employee parking program - https://www.charlotteagenda.com/117034/park-road-shopping-center-parking/

I've seen a lot of parking lots where a different color stripe was used -- say, yellow instead of white. That's always down at the end of the aisles, so I always presumed it was to designate where workers are supposed to park so they don't take up the prime spots for customers.

Employee parking zones are typically at the far end of the lot, but the way this shopping center is set up, there are storefronts surrounding the parking lot, so employee parking needs to be "in the middle"

Different color parking lines, as hbelkins notes, is also used. I've seen a solid line across near the back of a lot also

Of course, having worked in Retail, the enforcement of these employee parking zones varies greatly

I mean, I know what roads are and what not and the highway sign and roads, but I don't know what those white dots that the image shows above.
