What's your weather currently?

Up until about 8 last night, The Weather Channel was saying that all we'd get was some spotty rain and wind.  We had that...

...and ice...

...and then light snow and flurries this morning.

Forecast for Saturday also dropped by about 10° from the 20s to upper 10s.

If only my boss was as forgiving for being as wrong as meteorologists...

Another storm on the way. Weather people are having a tough time telling if it will be rain or snow, or freezing rain though. Either way, it will make Monday and Tuesday messy. Warm and sunny Sunday though!

I bet that's the same storm that will be affecting us down in the Chicago area tomorrow.  Rain and thunderstorms forecast, giving us a springtime feel.  Up into the mid-60s though (or about 18°C)--late winter warmth usually comes at a price, though--storms.  Gotta convert it for the Canadians!

I believe it was Wednesday, March 1st (a few days ago), that there was both a severe thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch in my area. The winds were pretty high, and the trees were swaying violently. No tornadoes actually touched down, though.

It's sunny today with a high of 8C (47F), which is nice. However, there's also a wind warning currently, with winds of 60 km/h and gust of 100 km/h expected. I saw an advertisement on the outside of a bus fall right off onto the road just a few minutes ago.

We're finally getting some snow in Chicago, enough to break our almost 3 month snow drought (one inch at least). Looking at 3-6 inches, with another 3-6 possibly from lake effect bands on the backside of the system
The local weatherman, trust me I can be 99.9% right!

I don't.  The final report I saw on PennLive showed the Harrisburg Int'l Airport reporting 17".

I cannot think of a forum member from the Scranton area though.  (Note that being from VA I am not used to being expected to go to work the day after getting that much snow even with a 3 hour delay.)

Around 4" of snow where I live.  And 19 degrees or so this morning, with highs below freezing.

A nearby marina (one can see from I-295 in Bordentown, NJ) started putting out their docks already...maybe convinced the 70 degree weather we had last week meant spring was here.  Whoops!

18-19" of snow at my house, just measured quickly with a tape measure.

We didn't get much snow and had no issues making it to work (and, more importantly, the hockey game) yesterday. Single-digit wind chills today prompted me to break out the polar fleece—lined jeans and ski mask for the first time this winter for the walk across town to the office. Sure felt nice and warm. The "security" guy downstairs didn't like seeing me walk in wearing a ski mask!

There were places in PA that had snow slides or avalanches:  one on PA 147 south of Sunbury, and two on PA 92 near Tunkhannock.  http://www.pennlive.com/news/2017/03/avalanche_in_pa_prompts_travel.html

Funny thing:  watching CBS3 Philly snow coverage yesterday morning, a news truck was filming travelling up the NE Extension I-476, which was pretty obvious to a local roadgeek by the overpasses.  First time was in the 26-31 widening construction zone, and the in-studio news broadcaster said they were on "Sumney Pike" - which doesn't exist.  Nearby, there is a Sumneytown Pike.  Second time, they were further north near the Quakertown exit, and the news broadcasters said they were on the Schuylkill Expwy.  The third time, they got it right.

It snowed Tuesday and I got to work 12-5 instead of 4-10. That's because I went in with my mom, who's a pharmacist at the grocery store we both work at, and she was supposed to be 12-9, and I was supposed to be 4-10, but about 12:30 they said we would close at 5, so I punched in and worked until 5 and then my mom and I both went home.

If we really want to know we might just look at weather.com instead of waiting for someone to post here.
(I know, there are other web sites besides aaroads.com? what an idea!)

I believe it was Tuesday, March 14th (a few days ago) that there was a wind advisory. I also remember that that afternoon I was actually updating some posts here on the forum, and when I got up and looked out the window, the clouds looked incredibly dark and eerie. Interestingly, though, nothing actually really happened.

It'll reach the 70s this weekend. Good day for a day-long road trip, methinks. Not sure to where yet, though.

Funny thing is, I'm about an hour or so away from you (north of Hagerstown, or HGR) and we got no warning at all. Love how weather works, doesn't it?

It'll also hit the 80s next week. Right now it's in the 50s/60s, and it'll stay that way through the weekend. Shouldn't be too cold tomorrow, though the highs are somehow 46 degrees.

Yesterday was sunny with a high of 12 C (54 F), and now it's 1C (34 F) and snowing! It's also a very wet and heavy snow. I had to clear off the snow from my car half an hour ago, while wearing a light jacket shivering :-D. I guess winter isn't quite over yet
