As you are probably aware, Tom (Max) and I have started a podcast on California Highways, www.caroutebyroute.org California Highways Route by Route. I'm having a real hard time finding folks for interviews: people are not responding to emails anymore and I don't have a full-time producer to make actual calls.
So, I'm looking for folks willing to talk on the following subjects for upcoming episodes:
- The Pat Brown era of Freeway construction in California, and what it was like to live through the Great Renumbering
- How the CEQA changed the process of highway construction in California, and the impact of the growing influence of regional transportation organizations
