Help Needed - California Highways Podcast
« on: September 30, 2022, 08:44:45 PM »

As you are probably aware, Tom (Max) and I have started a podcast on California Highways, www.caroutebyroute.org California Highways Route by Route. I'm having a real hard time finding folks for interviews: people are not responding to emails anymore and I don't have a full-time producer to make actual calls.

So, I'm looking for folks willing to talk on the following subjects for upcoming episodes:
  • The Pat Brown era of Freeway construction in California, and what it was like to live through the Great Renumbering
  • How the CEQA changed the process of highway construction in California, and the impact of the growing influence of regional transportation organizations

Sparker would have been ideal for this, but he seems to have disappears and I'm afraid he was hit with COVID. It's been over a year since he posted. So if you have any leads for me to talk to, please comment here or send them to faigin -at cahighways -dot org
