Snowing. Quite a bit. Between yesterday and today, we've had enough bad accidents in eastern New York for an entire winter. The long-overdue I-88 winter pileup occurred yesterday afternoon in Schenevus, there's a 10-car pileup on the Northway in Moreau and a bunch of smaller accidents elsewhere, including a fatal accident on NY 155 in Guilderland and a tour bus crash on NY 28N in Minerva.

Not much different here:

There was a 20-40 car pileup on ON 400: http://www.cp24.com/news/at-least-13-injured-in-hwy-400-pileup-involving-more-than-20-vehicles-1.2843615

Cold here all week. I really wonder if the leaves will be on the trees by the end of April/beginning of May like usual.

Last 3 days: Saturday snow squalls and blizzard conditions, 5 minutes later sun. Rinse and repeat.
Sunday: 72 degrees
Today: 32 degrees and snow showers

Saturday was some of the most bizarre weather I have ever seen.  Towering tall clouds all around, and sunshine here and there, but then every so often, Mother Nature would take 5 minutes to just barf snow down from the heavens.  It was like barfing (meteorologists might call it "downdrafts").  Mother Nature, go home, you drunk.  Oh yeah- and it was 41 degrees AS the snow was falling (Aurora, IL area)

9 straight days of recorded precip in my backyard gauge. Today's was graupel ice pellets and rain. Temps expected to remain below normal with continued clipper systems through at least Wednesday.

Signs of spring are still a week away, as 7-14 day model outlooks are hinting at a pattern change.

Finally getting warm here (20 C, 68 F here today). No leaves yet, but that will happen soon. Lots of rain this weekend should melt the remaining snow.

Desert Man

Lows in 60s and highs in the 80s, overcast this morning, became clear for the rest of the day and tonight.

It's going to hit the high 70s on Monday here in Seattle. Second time it's gone above that range in the last few weeks.

I'm seeing mid 80s for the south sound. I don't think this kind of weather is normal?

About 65 and sunny. Going to top 70 tomorrow. So nice that I went up to the Adirondacks for a hike earlier.

Final high temperature at Sea-Tac Airport was 89°F. A new record for April.

Eight years ago today, it was snowing in Seattle...I don't get this month. It's too strange.

noelbotevera

Currently 50 degrees here. High is 75, no rain predicted, cloudy skies...almost perfect!

freebrickproductions

Here in Huntsville, AL, it's currently cloudy and 70°, with a high of 82° and no chance of rain.
It's amazing actually, we got more than two days of spring this year down here!

April is really a wild card.  Here in Chicagoland, we had 3 days in a row topping out in the 80s (80-83°F or 27-28°C).  Also in April, we've had three separate days of measurable snowfall.  All within April 1- April 18.

Today it's overcast with a few showers with temperatures in the low to mid 60s (15-17°C).

The warm weather had to go out somehow. It chose to go with a bang! I got these "gifs" from my dashcam just over the last hour:

After a couple days of normal temperatures, it's back to the mid 70s here in Albany. Similar temps tomorrow with rain. Given that it could be much colder and snowing, I'm not complaining.

72 today, 85 tomorrow, 71 Tuesday, and then 60 and rainy on Wednesday.

I plan on walking the entire length of the downtown waterfront tomorrow (where the sounds of cars on the viaduct aren't heard now), so it should be a nice day.

34 C (95 F) today in Winnipeg. Broke a 90 year record. Haven't had rain in over two weeks now. I'm concerned about grass fires.
