Hello from Detroit! Impressed with the content on this forum, can't believe I hadn't found it years ago!

Growing up in Detroit, I have been interested in the road and rail systems in the city, especially the history. I collect signs from the Detroit area as well.

I recently picked up an older I-75 sign. I was wondering if anyone could put a date on it, or tell me any other info about it? I haven't seen an interstate sign like this in service for years, especially with the "Michigan" label on it.

Thanks in advance -

Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Looks like a pretty early one, if I'm not mistaken one of the first generation shields given the numbers are kind of small.  You might want to compare it to what is in the shield gallery.

Too bad there's no date sticker on the back, huh?
Keep right except to pass.  Yes.  You.
