I went out on a clinching trip in Panama City and the surrounding areas a couple days ago, and discovered this set of US-98 shields on Lisenby Ave southbound prior to 15th St.  Apologies if this has already been posted before.

There's the two in Leesburg, which seem to be non-standard installs. They have stretched/compressed numbers but they don't use retroreflective sheeting.

Nice to see.  Unfortunately I was in a bit of a time crunch, so I didn't have the opportunity to poke around all that many side streets while I was there.

Could anyone help me track down which intersection this installation is located at (or used to be)? The top image is from the AARoads Florida U.S. Highways page, which claims it's in Davenport, and still extant as recently as 2017. The bottom image (clearly of the same assembly) is from Wikipedia, yet claims it's in Alfred Lake. I did some poking around on GSV around those areas but was unable to find it.

Now I do know there is a *separate* colored shields assembly in Davenport that still exists (https://goo.gl/maps/VSfBQAC5TXAyxWUp6), but the one pictured below is different from that one.

I would try looking for a cell phone tower in the satellite imagery along US-17/92 first in those areas.  That should help narrow it down.

Taken at this intersection, but from well to the right of the sign assembly and at a sharp angle towards US 17/92 EB - https://goo.gl/maps/gQU3Z3oZjFbXPChL9

The decorative column by the man in the salmon shirt is the first column of this building: https://goo.gl/maps/4sV9oH4HVpYgY5Fo6

The thick dark pole that appears to the right of the man is actually the left side stoplight pole here: https://goo.gl/maps/TvsWrUThJFxoqWpH7

The US 17-92 assembly, cell tower and building with the slanted roof are all in this view - https://goo.gl/maps/M83Ycf6c5E9gftKWA

The cell tower is 270 ft from US 17-92 and about 600 ft from where the photo in question was taken.

But this colored assembly was gone by 2008 per GMSV

CR 547/Lee Jackson Hwy at Bay Street in Davenport, this is the lone assembly remaining:

These are date stamped June 7, 1993

More photos at https://www.aaroads.com/guides/cr-547-fl/

The entry on the AARoads colored US shields marker is mislabeled and probably was back before GSV existed and copied over in site revisions. I added the line about it still standing in 2017 without checking to see if it the assembly on CR 547 in Davenport. I'll correct the description tomorrow.
