I'm just trying to decipher how Jeremy managed to trick the forum software into displaying his join date as 9/11/01.

He used to be admin. (Alps is listed as February 2, 2020, which is less obvious now that that date has passed.)

Slightly wrong. I was admin for both of those date changes. I should have gone farther in the future.

Although 02/02/2020 actually turned out to roughly correspond with when COVID-19 appeared on the scene...

It was also my 30th birthday.

I hope y'all kept the receipt for this pandemic...

The Super Bowl was also on 02/02/2020. 02/02/2020 was also the only palindrome date of the year, the first palindrome date since 2012, and there will not be another one for 1,010 years.

2012 only had a palindrome in DMY format (not MDY format), and 12/02/2021 is a palindrome, as is 03/02/2030.

More than one palindrome date a year is impossible within a single format.

I had about 3 hours where I was the newest. A user by the name of Signal joined the same day as me, and actually happens to be online as I write this! Impressive, considering I joined 7 years ago, when I was a 12 year old.

Looks like about 4 hours and 15 minutes.   Interestingly, three of us registered on 12/29/16, but then no one else registered for 4 days (1/2/17).  Also, no one registered the day before the three of us (12/28/16).

97: number of posts -- For someone who logs in to the site at lunchtime almost every day, this is a startling low number.  Perhaps I should post more often?  It's for sure that I can say nothing in too many words as well as anybody, but will I actually do something about it?  (My Magic 8 Ball responds, "Don't count on it.")
