Title: I-85 comes to Frederick Maryland
Post by: Stephane Dumas on July 01, 2010, 03:03:43 PM
Maybe it might fit more to fictionnal highways section

Someone at MD DOT did a sign goof by marking I-85 instead of MD-85 and the folks of Tollroadnews step on this goof to provide a I-85 northern extension  http://tollroadsnews.com/node/4806

That was already covered in the Erroneous Road Signs thread https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=87.msg66635#msg66635 (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=87.msg66635#msg66635)

Interesting route.  I was thinking of using I-85 to get rid of I-99.

Hmm, would an I-85 northern extension relieve truck traffic off of I-81? I could see that. Would it relieve I-95? Probably not too much, as routed on there.

I like the concept, though.
