That reminds me of the "NY Drivers Don't Know This New Rule" ad that is linked in many news articles.  Instead of having any information on any rule, it's just a sales pitch for car insurance quotes.

I see that ad a lot, but instead of "NY", it's "Alabama".

I was a victim of that one too, although I don't remember it being 50 speed traps.  In any case, I remember being frustrated and annoyed by all of the mouse clicks.  However, I felt compelled to continue clicking through the pictures and descriptions.

I frequently look at nj.com.  Since I'm generally viewing it in NJ, the clickbait will read "NJ Drivers Don't Know this rule".  On vacation to Florida, no matter what state I was in, the clickbait was based on where I was located.  "Florida Drivers Don't...", "South Carolina Drivers Don't...", etc.

Somewhere, I have a screenshot of "Your Town, ZZ" inserted in place of what the adtracker thinks my IP address is.
