Those who closely follow the doings of yours truly may recall that back in September — ba-de-ya! - I goed on a little fact-finding mission to Fernandina Beach, Florida. A sea urchin stabbed my toe in the ocean, and my thermos full of apple juice fermented to become wine.

And my trip yielded 127 Roads Scholaring photos and videos. This justifies some peepage, so point your pooper here...

It's not just pictures, but commentary; here are a few:

It's almost imperceptible, but I have trained eyes that can see it.

We fell for that trick on my 2005 trip to Orlando.

I might not have had to spend decades overexerting myself and becoming dehydrated on people's roads if not for narcissistic public officials and their "tHeReF0Re tHeReF0Re tHeReF0Re!" nonsense.

Remember that baseball player who ate VapoRub?

The bridge was named after a Florida politician, not Napoleon Bonaparte, who appeared on the Fritos t-shirt that got put in the toilet.

We had to read books that won a Newbery, while the other class got to read books that won the Caldecott Medal, which were much easier.

At least my thermos full of apple juice had fermented to become wine, because I sure needed it. But people standing outside the shopping center were chewin' bubble gum! They didn't bubble. But they were chewin' bubble gum!

Also, what is the collapsed-looking building at the right in the picture captioned "US 441 again."?
My first SF/horror short story collection is available: "Young Man, Open Your Winter Eye"

I'm not really sure what it is. It might be a hotel.

It's an attraction called "Beyond the Lens".
