I wonder why they're closing it even to pedestrian and bicycle traffic?

Are there holes in the deck or something?

Oh hey, that's that deck truss you can see from I-44. Hmm.

In case you didn't know, Route 66 State Park is the site of the old dioxin-contaminated Times Beach townsite.
