In the amusing article: "Yankees Move To Connecticut To Raise Kids" (https://theonion.com/yankees-move-to-connecticut-to-raise-kids/), the Bronx Bombers move to a nice neighborhood in Southport. The photo in the article, however, shows the Hartford skyline from the west, above a fairly nice-looking 2-lane street with center turning lanes.

I was wondering if that was a section of Asylum Ave, or Farmington Ave, or just a composed photo from somewhere else. I couldn't locate it on Google maps with minimal effort and gave up :-)

My first guess would be Albany Ave (US-44), but looking further makes me want to go with Franklin Ave or Wethersfield Ave. Either way, I still haven't gotten any real hits yet.

The helpful hint was the Dunkin Donuts on that road, which just went to process of elimination from there. That obtuse angled building in the bottom left clinched it.

Still not as fun as Radiohead and their Hartford photo which actually got this forum into new stories.
