While Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer returns to its original TV home after 51 years on CBS, Frosty the Snowman will switch networks for the first time in its history (having aired on CBS annually from its debut in 1969 until last year). Universal, which is co-owned with NBC by Comcast, holds the distribution rights to all the Rankin-Bass specials, so it makes sense that this move will occur in the upcoming holiday season. (Since NBC is planning to air a 75-minute airing of Rudolph, I guess this means all the scenes that were cut from the CBS airings will be restored, including the peppermint mine at the end.)
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Cool, we have these Christmas cartoons on DVD.  I've already fallen asleep while my wife has been watching them in the bedroom.

Or, perhaps, mostly just more commercials.

Good news! Surely this makes up for the election result.

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

I mean hey, it is almost a 100% certainty that I'll watch more Rankin-Bass cartoons this next month than I have watched election media coverage this past decade.
