From a Bridges thread back in 2022:  The CSX overpass on the Clarksburg Freeway (US-50) in West Virginia is a head-turner.  The B&O logo appears to be unique, incorporating the C&O ampersand that was only used for a few years by the C&O/B&O before becoming the Chessie System.  (For the record, the C&O never used this ampersand in its logo).

While trying to look up the B&O logo on the overpass in East St. Louis, I found that the B&O logo on the Clarksburg Freeway overpass is actually from 1937 to 1944 and not the infamous one that uses the ampersand from the C&O font.  The C&O didn't get control of the B&O until 1963.  Thus, I am back in the hunt for the missing logo.

It appears that the B&O logo on the overpass in East St. Louis is this one (which was used in the 1950s and 1960s, sans "Linking 13 Great States with the Nation"):

A favorite of mine that has been gone for over 10 years now was the Pennsylvania Railroad bridge over I-65 (originally built for US 52) in Lebanon, Indiana.  It served well; I wish the PRR logos could have been saved somehow.

I remember a B&O logo being on the RR bridge over I-95 at the northern city limit in Wilmington DE -- this would be about 1/4 mile south of (what is now) the US 202/DE 202 interchange.

I grew up near there and saw it a lot as a child. I do not know if it is still there, since I don't go up there much anymore, and I haven't really been looking since I have been driving (35-40 years) -- need to pay attention to the road.

What I see in post #25 above here looks familiar so it could have looked like that.

It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

There's an overpass with Santa Fe branding in Williams, AZ on Historic Route 66 -- complete with an ad.

There are some railroad overpasses along the CSX line in Delaware that have the B&O logo. I know one is located along DE 3 northeast of Wilmington just north of the I-95 interchange.

Wow.  That is the same old B&O logo as shown above on the Clarksburg Freeway.  Going southbound on DE-3, the logo is significantly more faded that northbound (posted).

These are quite common on old Seaboard Air Line trackage in the Carolinas.

Monroe, N.C. still has a logo for the short-lived Seaboard System.
Was about to include this in my post until I noticed you had already done it.

I wonder how common these old Seaboard System badges are on overpasses? There can't be very many of them because of how short-lived they were.
I love my 2010 Ford Explorer.

I know there's a pair in Attalla, AL, and a pair in Waycross, GA, which I've linked earlier in the thread, but that brings the total known up to three.

The ones that I remembered in Shockoe Valley are still there (barely).

The first one is looking eastward at the famous Triple Railroad Crossing:  https://www.google.com/maps/@37.5319645,-77.4316967,3a,15.3y,117.56h,91.04t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sjdvC9dlg1FQQMQiLSw6ySA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?entry=ttu

The second one is nearby on Dock Street, looking westward:  https://www.google.com/maps/@37.5323841,-77.43099,3a,75y,275.74h,100.39t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1spuGMSFGtN3LMXBBo0_35uw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

The third one on Main Street (US-60) looking westward from Main Street Station is faded beyond recognition:  https://www.google.com/maps/@37.5340551,-77.4295955,3a,41.9y,333.67h,95.99t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sYjo1M8S8BLHk4NEoKosndQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

And, the fourth one is looking eastward on Broad Street (US-250):  https://www.google.com/maps/@37.5369251,-77.4274844,3a,37.8y,133.22h,92.02t/data=!3m9!1e1!3m7!1szX9eAzo6u1C2QFAmwB0feQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192!9m2!1b1!2i39?entry=ttu

For the record, I've worked at each of these railroad locations on four different projects spanning three decades (indeed, there were a few projects that overlapped).  One of those projects was also working on the parallel C&O Old Main Line (Chessie System) that runs along the east side of Main Street Station.  The Chessie logos were collector items and most of them got pulled down (illegally) by railfans soon after the CSX merger.  I don't remember ever seeing any Chessie logos on any the the parallel bridges.

The wikipedia article for the Soo Line has this picture.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soo_Line_Railroad#/media/File:Soo_line_camden_bridage_approach.jpg

I know this because I drove under that very bridge and decided to look up the Soo Line when I got home.

Unfortunately the signage on the bridge no longer exists.

My all time favorite was the railroad trestle that spanned the I-376/Parkway West in Pittsburgh.

It was for the Norfolk & Western Railroad -- There was a big sign hung on the trestle facing inbound I-376.  I believe at one time it lit up in neon lettering.

It has been taken down in recent years.

It looks like it was still there (mostly) back as recent as 2014 (and mostly gone by Late 2015).  Same thing in the opposite direction.

I've actually driven over this trestle in a hy-rail truck.  This line was originally the Pittsburgh and West Virginia Railroad (a subsidiary of the Wabash), and a key part of the Alphabet Route.  The N&W leased both the Wabash and the P&WV starting in 1964.  So these signs would have been installed on a railroad owned by [somebody] other than the Norfolk and Western Railway.  Which was the Pennsylvania Railroad, that controlled the Wabash after the latter went into receivership.  When I got involved, this line had been sold by Norfolk Southern to the new Wheeling and Lake Erie (which was also part of the Alphabet Route).

I discovered that I caught a vintage B&O logo carved into the concrete of a railroad bridge in Lorain, Ohio, back in June.
Please, don't sue Alex & Andy over what I wrote above

Here are two underpasses with N&W "hamburger" logos I drive under somewhat frequently on OH 18 between Norwalk and Wellington. This line was part of the original Wheeling and Lake Erie and is now part of the new Wheeling and Lake Erie. It was leased by the Nickel Plate in the 40's, became part of N&W in 1964, and then was sold by NS to the new W&LE in 1990.
