There are a ton of ruins up in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, not too far from where I went to college.  On the (M-26) drive from Hancock to Laurium alone, you'll encounter the Quincy Smelting Works, Mill, and Dredge.  It gives the whole area a nice post-apocalyptic feel.   :ded:

I want to go to Chernobyl and Prypiat, Ukraine. both look like interersting ghost cities to go to.
