Title: Varina-Enon Bridge Painting
Post by: SteveG1988 on September 24, 2020, 01:58:11 PM
Drove over the bridge on 295 today, they're painting the cables blue, and where the cables go into the towers there appear to be "boxes" around them, any word on what this could be for, potentially lighting it?

Pretty sure, yes. Here's more evidence how it looks - https://www.google.com/maps/@37.3784766,-77.3460655,3a,76.9y,341.09h,89.72t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sKiYpi-KkbUfTF0h6fmlhCg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192

It looks very cool! If I see it being lit up, I'm sure it will look like this:
