Smithfield Maybe? I'm just guessing because that is what is said on the bottom but I don't know.

Here ya go!   http://bridgehunter.com/mo/clay/bh82136/ (http://bridgehunter.com/mo/clay/bh82136/)

Although the description says "location is a guess" ...  The guess is where a first crossing of the Little Platte River would possibly be.

I was thinking that it might have been in that location. It looks like the road has been straightened over time.

I'm going to argue for a different location...the original Second Creek Rd crossing of Second Creek (a little south of current crossing).

The 1914 topo already shows no curve in the road at the Platte river Crossing.

Note that this post card company identified Platte River when a structure was on/over the Platte River - https://www.smithvillehistoricalsociety.com/river___bridge_scenes

There was only one Platte River crossing on the 1914 topo and the above site shows a different (and bigger) bridge.

If you look at the 1970 historic aerial, the westbound approach looks very similar to the post card including the 3 large trees on the left (1960 view is in winter).

I think Smithville might be a better guess.
