Interstates that intersect more than once

was just thinking is the I-10 I-17 the only place the two 2dis intersect twice?

I-90 and I-94 intersect 3 times; I-73 and I-74 will intersect twice if they're ever fully completed; can't think of any others off the top of my head.

Depending upon the final eastern ends of I-73 and I-74, it could be three:  First near Huntington, WV; second in North Carolina; and third near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

I'm only seeing one instance for I-40 and I-85.

By the end of the year - or now if you go by the signs - I-64 and I-70 will intersect twice in Missouri, first at Wentzville, then at the PSB.

1) I-94's western end in MT
2) Western end of I-90/94 Multiplex in WI
3) Eastern end of I-90/94 Multiplex in WI
4) Western (compass north) end of I-90/94 Multiplex in Chicago, IL
5) Eastern (compass south) end of I-90/94 Multiplex in Chicago, IL
6) Where I-94 interchanges with I-90 and the Indiana toll road. (and I-80 switches from I-90 to I-94)

seems like we've got a problem with terminology.  I would say count a multiplex as one - think of it as an extra-long junction 

so 90/94 would meet 4 times: Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Montana.

That's fine with me.  However you look at it, three didn't seem right.

My bad.  I forgot the easternmost split south of Chicago when I counted 3.  I agree, by the way, that multiplexes should count as one intersection.

I-90 and I-94 touch at Billings, MT
Again near Tomah, WI where they continue to touch towards Madison, WI
Then, they touch again in Chicago, IL and continue until the Skyway breaks off
Then, they touch when they intersect (I-80/I-94 from the west intersects with I-90 from the west, creating I-80/I-90 and I-94)

So, I count four times.
