It has sat idle for nearly three years after inspections found serious structural issues, meetings held to determine whether to save it or not, but the fate of Donora-Webster Bridge has been determined.  PennDOT will begin demolition on the 106-year-old structure within the year.

Now that's a shame...that's an impressive looking bridge.

Can't blame them for not replacing it... It isn't part of any thoroughfare, Webster is a tiny little town, and there are other options not too far up or downstream.
If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.
