Just remembered this one: I-35 over a rail line over 23rd st in OKC.

??  I-35 goes under 23rd Street.

Oopsie, I-235. Been a while since I lived there.

Ah, cool.  Gotcha.  I've never taken I-235 through there.

It might be worth mentioning that there is a near miss just north of there, with the same road and railroad track, near 50th st. The 50th st bridge is just feet away from going over the RR bridge over 235.

Hmmm... what about something like this? Yes, it's part of a freeway interchange, but the CSX rail line goes right through the middle of it.

I'm not sure if any of the bridges are actually over another bridge there.  Hmmmm....  This one at least comes really close.

In Syracuse, there's a near miss as I-81 passes over tracks by Destiny USA and Park St passes underneath them between I-81 and NY 370 and other ramp spaghetti.

Houston has a new, interesting one. Here's a bridge over a pedestrian bridge going in the same direction:

Interesting!  That one got me thinking about the catwalk under the New River Gorge Bridge, and if that would count as a "Bridge over a Bridge".  (Or maybe it is just kind of a "double decker bridge").  (It is interesting nevertheless).

Looks like a new thread:  Bridges under Bridges.

This reminds me of the time I took some friends on a camping trip so that they could see the New River Gorge Bridge up close and personal.  The original observation deck was still in use, and we were surprised to see a fellow free-scaling across the eastern arch structure.  We probably stayed for an hour watching.  It was fun trying to negotiate all of the hairpins on (then) WV-82 under the bridge in my 1985 Pontiac Catalina, which required three-point turns in several of the curves.

South of Pontiac, IL, I-55 crosses the Rock Creek while going underneath a local road.

ETA: This is my 500th post on this form!

I-294 over both US 20 [Lake St.] and IL 64 [North Ave.] in Northlake IL. The Lake st./20 bridge was first built in the 1930's and was a truss design, replaced a few years ago with plain bridge. Was amazed at it as a kid and now I go over it to work daily.

Here's an example on county road G38 just west of Washington, Iowa where the road simultaneously crosses over a creek and under a rail bridge. This setup used to be even more interesting, because if you look at the 2009 Streetview you can see that the road bridge used to be a pony truss. That pony truss dated back to the original paving of the road in 1928, when it was part of what is now IA 92.

Here's a much newer example on US 20 just west of Dubuque at a new interchange with the relocated US 52. I really like the guardrail design they used here on US 20. I wish they'd do stuff like that more often.

Texas rail is not commonly used on roads on that level.

There's that point where the Garden State Pkwy goes over the NJ Turnpike in Woodbridge Twp.  NJ 514, a.k.a. Main St., diagonally crosses them both.  While this is all near Interchange 11 on the pike (and GSP Exit 129), it is technically not part of the ramp structure.

It's not a bridge over a bridge, but I've always been amazed by the railroad bridge just east of there, which appears to be held up with timbers.
