Hell no why would I dream about this forum?

Wow, you get to choose what topics you do and do not dream about?  My dreams don't ask permission first.
I don't remember my dreams but I doubt any of them have anything to do with an internet forum.

I was trying to press various parts of my shirt to teleport

This is my favorite part.

Reminds me of the episodes of Star Trek TNG where someone steals a Starfleet officer's combadge and they don't realize until they go to reach for it and it's not there.

(Also, 1, what were you doing in my office? No teleporting there allowed without an invitation.)

It turns out that Scott's house is actually an early-1950s style ranch house with a partially unfinished basement.  (Maybe it looks newer than it really is on the outside, or maybe it looks older than it really is on the inside.)

When I arrived, Scott was downstairs with several people from another online community he participates in–something to do with playing games.  They were all gathered around in a circle on chairs in the middle of the basement.  Scattered around that immediate area were several toilets–not enclosed, just there between the wall studs, because Scott and his friends aren't bothered at all by seeing each other pee.  On the floor in the middle of the group was a big road map.  At first glance, it appeared to be an eastern European country, and a bunch of routes had been marked with a highlighter.  Later, upon closer inspection, I could tell that Scott had printed off a dozen or so 8½x11 pages and taped them together to make one big map.  It turned out to be Liechtenstein and surrounding areas, and Scott had marked the route of an upcoming road trip there.

At this point, I should mention that Scott isn't actually married.  Or at least, the woman in his house isn't his wife.  It's his mother.  Yes, Scott lives with his mom.  (Looking back now, this should have been obvious, because of the long hair and the obsession with Linux.)  She's very nice, though, and she keeps up surprisingly well with Scott's geeky interests–doesn't seem to think of them as anything but normal, as a matter of fact.

There was this secret room on the forum accessed within the menu after clicking "Help" on Home — Help — Search — Profile etc. where there was this office where a single SMF employee was working and a spacious basement-like room next to it. Almost nobody I told believed it actually existed.

He probably had a full bladder weighing on his prostate while he slept—and the most natural place in his dream to stop and go pee was in your basement/office.

The forum had suddenly rolled back to September 9, 2017. This included going back to an older version of the software and eliminating some (non-existent in real life) bug that was introduced sometime between 2017 and 2024. I was about to create a poll thread asking whether everyone would rather go back to 2017 in real life and try to live the 6½ years differently.

I'd certainly live 2020 much differently.
