Currently -3C (27F) with a few cm of snow last night. It went from looking like spring to back to winter again! The next few days have some flurries, then starting Monday we'll be back in the positives. Thursday's expected to reach a high of 16C (61F) - that'll be nice. :D

69 degrees at Craig Airport. Flood watch until close to lunch time tomorrow. I'm not that far from a major tributary of the St Johns River (Pablo Creek aka San Pablo River), but far away enough to not be in a flood zone.

Severe storms tomorrow. Hope we dodge a bullet before cooler weather sets in.

90% chance of rain tomorrow as well.

No significant rain chances again until next Tuesday, when there's 80% in the forecast.

I took a 9 1/2 mile walk today (and set foot in Pelham NH for the first time). I didn't notice the wind.

Tomorrow South Texas is looking at:

Brownsville:  88 high, 66 low
Corpus Christi:  86 high, 62 low
Laredo:  94 high, 61 low
McAllen:  93 high, 64 low

These temperatures are about a month ahead of schedule; while we typically average 90 degrees starting late April, Laredo has already seen six days in the 90s (including one day over 100 degrees) so far this year....tomorrow will be the seventh day past 90 this year, and that's before the official start Spring.

Today:  Lows were upper 60s to near 70 degrees across South Texas last night, and today's highs are looking at mid 90s to low 100s.  Falcon Lake is expected to reach 101 degrees.  Rainy today and turning to thunderstorms tomorrow.

... low 100s ... Rainy today ...

Not at the same time, right?

Not the same location actually.  The rain storms will only affect the coastal areas, but remaining clear and dry along the Mexican border.

On the menu tonight in College Station is hail and tornadoes. I think they're still an hour and half or so away.

Stay safe! Similar weather expected here, but I'm far enough south that I think I'll escape the worst.

I have to admit that I'm starting to get nervous. The red zones are tornado warnings.

Now I'm in the thick of things.

Looking at the radar, I think the brunt of the storm is going to pass to the north of me, but not by much.

There's been reports of a tornado about 10 miles to the west of me. The bulk of the storm though has passed me by now.
