I didn't get a clear shot but IL 43 has a Begin at US 30

And now I have a photo of it!

A rare BEGIN sign for a county road. Hennepin CR-81 (former MN-101) at the I-94/MN-101/CR-81 interchange in Rogers.

At the western terminus of SR 532 on Camano Island, WA. This is on one arm of a Y-split.

Ironically the pavement gets better on the south side of the intersection, where Island County takes over. I am surprised that the highway doesn't go all the way down Camano Island, or at least to one of the state parks.
Alright, this is how it's gonna be!

A Texas "BEGIN" sign for Business FM1960 outside Houston:

Wow, 2 TX rarities on one assembly:  a BEGIN banner and a Business FM shield (this is only one of 3 Business FM roads in the whole state)

Here's a BGS with "BEGINS,"  although I find the use of "CONTINUES"  to be the more interesting aspect. Essentially it's advance warning of a TOTSO.

(The sign has since been updated with the new route numbers, primary routes 289 and 286 from left to right.)

"You know, you never have a guaranteed spot until you have a spot guaranteed."
—Olaf Kolzig, as quoted in the Washington Times on March 28, 2003,
commenting on the Capitals clinching a playoff spot.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

I hadn't passed through Warrenton in a few years until we went through there on Thursday en route to Luray. Couldn't help but notice this "BEGIN" sign. It looked a little older in person than it does in the Street View image.

PennDOT District 6-0 occasionally farms out entire-road sign replacements to outside contractors.  There have been recent updates on PA 724 in Chester County and PA 491 in Delaware County within the past couple of weeks that both feature new BEGIN signs:

BEGIN PA 724 at the PA 23 beginning
BEGIN EAST PA 491 at the US 202 beginning

I don't have pics...wasn't expecting to see those...and is NOT a PennDOT norm that I've ever seen...

SR 252 Begins, Martinsville, Ind.   This sign was located at the original beginning of SR 252 on Hospital Drive at Morgan St (Old SR 37) ~ 1/4 mile west of the present junction.

M-84 at it's southern terminus.

I didn't know this thread existing until now, but I'm happy to see it does!

Here's the only BEGIN for I-41. Apologies for the glare.

The west end just has a standard East 10 sign. No actual begin.

If you ask me, it should be required for states to have begin and end signage for all of their highways–interstates, US routes, state routes–for all directions, including alternate, spur, and business routes.
