The St. Louis area has it's fair share for sure. On the other side of the Mississippi we have MO 364, 370; and had it came to fruition, MO 755.

US 89

I don't think Georgia has any, unless you count the unsigned 4xx overlaps with interstates.

Utah only has one - SR 67, better known as the Legacy Parkway. Though not for long: when it opens in a year or so, SR 179 (West Davis Highway) will be another.

I think VA-267 is a complete freeway.
Old VA-44 was one, until it got replaced by I-264.
VA-164 and VA-195 are freeways, VA-195 is an extension of I-195.

For VA, I think you are only missing VA 288.  I cannot fully justify VA 37 due to having stoplights at the I-81 ramps and an at-grade with SR 642 at its south end.

100% my fault, I only had the ones I listed at the top of my head. I was about to publish an edited version with VA-895. Still forgot about VA-288.

Also VA 27, VA 146.

other former ones: VA 224, VA 265, VA 280

The fact that the powers that be won't let MoDOT sign MO 370 as Interstate 370 is ridiculous, but oh well. It stays MO 370

For NY we have:

- NY 400: A freeway from West Seneca to East Aurora (Buffalo metro)

- NY 695: A short connector in the Syracuse metro.

That's all I can think of right now but there are probably some others.

There are quite a few others:

NY 201--A short spur in Binghamton
NY 390--Continuation of I-390 north of Rochester
NY 440--MLK Expressway through Staten Island
NY 590--Continuation of I-590 north of Rochester

CT 11 :sombrero:
CT 40
CT 78 :bigass:
SR's 695 and 796, plus several of the long left exit ramps on I-84 in the Hartford area that carry SR designations.

Just get rid of the traffic lights in Middletown and CT 9 joins this list.

Historical: CT 52 (now I-395)
Interstates I've clinched: 97, 290 (MA), 291 (CT), 291 (MA), 293, 295 (DE-NJ-PA), 295 (RI-MA), 384, 391, 395 (CT-MA), 395 (MD), 495 (DE), 610 (LA), 684, 691, 695 (MD), 695 (NY), 795 (MD)

Another user has already done Missouri, so I'll do my nearby neighbor Kansas - or at least I would, if I could think of any highways that fit the criteria. The closest would be K-10, as it's mostly freeway - except for a few traffic lights on the west side of Lawrence near Clinton Lake.

Can anyone find any all-freeway state routes in Kansas? K-254 in Wichita doesn't fit the bill either, whereas K-4 in Topeka, K-18 in Manhattan, and K-96 in Wichita are merely small freeway segments of much longer (mostly two-lane) highways.

-- US 175 --

There are a few in TX.  TX 225 is the only all-freeway one I can think of.  I was going to put TX 360 but between US 287 and just south of I-20, it is like others where the service road is the only part that is TX 360 (the newer main lanes are tolled with a different designation).

Someone out there may know of more; feel free to add.

At first thought, there would seemingly be a much longer list.  Most state highways in TX, though, are non-freeway or mixed freeway and surface street/highway.

Doesn't TX-225 end as a surface street inside loop 610?

[Florida] has plenty of toll roads designated as state roads, but no other all-freeway state routes to my knowledge.

The toll roads still count as freeways. For the sake of (partial) completion for the thread, this includes:

  • SR 417
  • SR 453
  • SR 451
  • SR 408
  • SR 429
  • SR 538?
  • SR 589
  • SR 568
  • SR 618
And a whole bunch more in South Florida, but I'm not familiar enough with the area to go through them all. Plus all Interstates have a hidden SR number, but I don't think that really counts in the spirit of the thread.
Davenport, IA -> Valparaiso, IN -> Ames, IA -> Orlando, FL -> Gainesville, FL -> Evansville, IN

Yes (this shield is posted between the terminus and the intersection with Broadway Street).

As for a complete list for Texas, I would guess it looks like this:

- TX 130
- TX 151
- TX Loop 151 (completely unrelated)
- TX 161

Most of the other ones you'd think would be all freeway (TX 99, Loop 375, etc.) have some sort of at-grade section.

South Carolina:
SC 22
SC 31
(I think) SC 30

SC 30 is a tough call.  It's ending at US 17 is like VA 37's south end.

also:
SC 85 (which is the official designation of I-85 Bus Spartanburg, though AFAIK is unsigned)
former routes:
SC 31 (now I-526 from SC 642 west to US 17)
SC 478 (now I-77 btw I-26 and US 76-378)

For North Carolina:
NC 74
NC 147
future NC 192
NC 295
NC 540
NC 885

As already mentioned, Pennsylvania has PA 33, PA 43, PA 283, PA 576, and PA 581. I know Delaware does not have any state routes that are exclusively freeways, with DE 1 and DE 141 the only state routes that even have a freeway segment.

I'd count OH 844, since there are no intersections except the terminus inside the base.
