Wow... Why does AHTD have to drag out everything?  The AR 102 (14th Street) project in Bentonville has literally taken years... To rebuild a little over 2 miles.  Absolutely unreal.

It's not AHTD, per se, but the contractors. I'm beginning to think some of the "lowest bid" contractors are idiots or hire a lot of idiots.

The fault could lay with several people, not just the contractor. The contractor may have put something in wrong, but the plans could have been wrong, too.

AHTD will hold a news conference on Wednesday regarding update on I-430/I-630 interchange construction:

The press release indicates changes in traffic patterns resulting from the construction will be the primary topic.  Misaligned pillars might be addressed in "current status of the project" discussion.
