There's a webcam showing a live view of the demolition and deck replacement here:

The demolition started on the northbound side on Friday, 24 April.  After the new northbound deck was poured, southbound traffic was detoured onto the new deck and demolition started on the southbound deck.

Right now the new southbound deck is being poured and it looks like that should be completed by Wednesday, 29 April.

It's quite impressive to do a complete deck demolition and replacement 6 days!

This project was supposed to occur the week of Memorial day with an extensive detour using the northbound on and off ramps.  Due to the lower traffic volumes caused by Covid-19, the timing was moved up to April and the northbound detour was not implemented.  Instead, northbound 101 traffic is detoured to 280 north and a single lane of southbound traffic has been maintained.  There were full closures overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Indeed, there are a lot of projects taking place now all over the country, taking advantage of the COVID-19 traffic drops.  [Another example is the I-5 closure in Burbank -- a major freeway closure, yet a non-isssue for traffic.]  But you are right that they did a lot of work in only 6 days.  It goes to show how efficient a rebuild can be if you can simply close down a road completely and not have to put up and take down barriers every weekend.

Do you know if they are working round the clock or just daylight hours so as not to disturb the sleeping neighbors?

They are working around the clock. Right now they are grinding the new southbound deck to provide a smooth driving surface.
