Interstate Kyle does a film of Mount Diablo

Not trying to be too much of a smart-ass, but I prefer the term "video." I don't even refer to Hollywood features as "films" unless the movie production was captured using real 35mm or 65mm film cameras. Most are recorded with heavily glorified video cameras now.

I really liked his CA 4 video over Ebbetts Pass.  I wonder what possessed him to take such a boring route like I-5, must've been in a hurry.

When did this morph from I-5 to Mount Diablo?  :-D  I did a somewhat recent trip up Mount Diablo myself on the South Gate Road and down on the North Gate Road:

Probably when Kyle got off I-5 onto the continuation of CA 33.  That'll take him through Tracy, then up Byron Road and Marsh Creek around the north side of Diablo; then just a few turns until the road up the hill.  Much more scenic (and less slog-like) than 580 to 680 through the 'burbs.
