Heating up to 72 today, 80 tomorrow, and 87 all weekend. This is not going to be a pleasant heat wave.

I'm seeing low to mid 90s for the south sound area (Puyallup).

We haven't even hit mid-80s here in Okinawa, though the humidity makes it feel way hotter.

Denver got 2.92" of rain yesterday, with our all-time record previously being 1.55". We only average 14" of rain a year, so we got a little over 20% of it in one day. Crazy.

High of 88, possible thunderstorms tonight. This is absurd for summer, let alone May.

ET21

Sunny and very pleasant upper 70s for today ahead of a lake enhanced pneumonia front. That'll drop our temps tonight 20-30 degrees
The local weatherman, trust me I can be 99.9% right!

Upper 70s and hazy due to high-altitude smoke from the Albertan wildfires. We're finally coming down from this odd spring heat wave but this preview of fire season is a bad sign.

They did put on a show in the foothills.

Thank you Bruce. Looks like it was quite the spectacle.

We got our share of thunderstorms here in Okinawa yesterday, I think we got around 2 to 3 inches of rain in just a few hours, and lots of lightning.

The dew point peaked shortly after the storms passed at 79 F, while it was only around 81 or 82 F. Dew point is back to 71 F this morning.

Misty and smoky from Canadian wildfires. Early this morning, Denver had the 2nd worst air quality in the world.

Beautiful stretch of weather upcoming, no rain and highs in the 70s/80s. Lows 40s/50s. Only wrinkle is occasional wildfire smoke haze above

Power outage on MA/NH 28 near and on both sides of the state line yesterday from about 1 PM to no idea but definitely back by 8 PM (National Grid told them 3:15 PM but I wasn't there past 2:30 PM). It was only raining lightly when this started, so even though there was a lot of rain from 2 PM to 5 AM the next day, it wasn't caused by the rain.

I was there for a Magic: the Gathering tournament. Apparently this place didn't allow any purchases at all when the power was out, even though there were emergency lights that allowed seeing, there were people playing with their own decks pre-tournament and lighting wasn't an issue, and I've played at a different location where the policy was cash only when the power was out.
