Thomas Brothers Maps have 1st regional and area map during 1993 Edition of The Trimble Atlas for those area such as Washington D.C., Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and eastern West Virginia area. However the major milestone for that company history was happened on September 1997 as introduction of 1998 Washington DC Metro Thomas Guide.

Have the first Thomas Brothers Metro Baltimore edition from 1999, also 2001 and 2003.  The latter two had full coverage of the fringe areas of the counties at the same scale that the first edition lacked, but they were rebranded as Rand McNally by then.

Prefer ADC over Thomas Brothers in this region.  ADC had a pretty good thing going until they were sold out last year.

Always liked the ADC atlases, grew up using them no less. Agree with the second point as well...
