Legendary.

It is Mexico, though. You can't blame them for trying.

I find it funny that there are three barbers side-by-side.

Just today I was wondering if Canada and other countries use red, white and blue barber poles.  Ask a silly question...

There is a Red Bull ad with that situation where the middle barber changes his business name to "Entrance".

Haha that's a great idea. For those like me who haven't seen it:

I would recommend reading the Wikipedia article on the Barber's pole, there's a lot more history than I expected! It seems the red/white/blue variant is most common in the US, while the red/white variant is more common elsewhere.

Stitching errors can make for some hilarious gibberish sometimes.

Evidently, there's a branch office of the Federal Railroad Administration located on a dead end street in a private residence in Green Cove Springs, Florida;

At least according to Google Maps.

BTW, I already contacted the FRA about this.

Is it cheating if you see it in person, and then go back and look it up on GSV when you get home?

I mean, it is a crazy thing you found on Google StreetView, I'm pretty sure finding it IRL beforehand isn't forbidden.  :bigass:

Well, there's also something I found IRL I want to post here, but Mr. Google hasn't driven on that street for a decade now, and the "crazy thing" appeared since.

One thing I like to find is posters for blood collects scattered throughout La France. I mostly find them by chance, either while on the Tour de France route, checking intersections of former national routes, or in the last case it's in a town with a cool name IMO.

And here's another. If you check historical photos you'll see there have been two of them in the same place.

(Although I prefer to use :sombrero:)

And on the other side of that same billboard: DNT TXT & DRV
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

The TOPS Supermarket in Buffalo where the mass shooting in May 2022 occurred - fenced off by cops in the most recent Google Streetview

And the memorial/vigil activities:

^ That location was renovated and recently reopened.  They had footage on the news, and it's now basically a Market 32 with a Tops logo slapped on the front.  Given that Tops is now owned by Price Chopper/Market 32, I can't help but wonder if this is a harbinger of things to come, and if Tops overall will eventually be folded into the Market 32 brand.

This here cracks me up how the imagery didn't quite line up resulting an an erroneous looking sign.

This would be a GSV stitching error (note the number of letters in "market")... except this is a real photograph that I took myself. How does real life have stitching errors?

Last month, when I was doing a bit of research on figuring out how to get from the airport to my hotel on my first trip to Toronto, I saw some oddly-garbed pedestrians in GSV:

'Better than Sex' is actually what a bunch of us from church call a certain dessert that we used to make all the time at gatherings.  It also went by the less giggly name 'BTS Cake'.

Although only less giggly until someone asks what the BTS stands for...

That fad flew through Christian youth when I was in high school and college.  You can derive all sorts of stuff psychologically from it.

If you zoom in, there's a plaque that answers that question.

That's a question that needed to be answered considering what goes on at Duval Street, especially during Fantasy Fest?
