State to extend Ind. 267 off-ramp, install new traffic signal. (Exit 133)

With all the Amazon traffic and traffic jams caused by it especially during the Christmas season, and the new Loves Travel plaza, this is long overdue. still waiting to hear word about the other planned interchange that is supposed to go in between SR-267 and the Whitestown Parkway, exit 330 (former SR-334).
And a highway will be there;
    it will be called the Way of Holiness;
    it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean will not journey on it;
    wicked fools will not go about on it.
Isaiah 35:8-10 (NIV)

Why did INDOT ever think it was a good idea to rebuild the SR 267 interchange exactly the same as it was before?  They knew that this would need upgrading almost immediately! And the planned interchange in between I believe you are referring to RR Parkway, that won't happen for a very, very, very long time.

Actually the additional intersection was to facilitate access to the anson development and yes likely in the long range planning. Ronald Reagan Parkway will actually connect to SR-267 somewhere south of I-65.

A roundabout interchange would be better than a signalized interchange.

Possibly.. once completed there will be 3 relatively closely spaced traffic signals on the northeast side of the interstate, and one on the southwest side. Not sure what (negative) impacts this will have for traffic leaving amazon or commuting from Lebanon/Lafayette. But at least traffic exiting from NB 65 (from indy) will be able to bypass 2 of the planned signals.
